Another Update

Hi everyone,

First of all, I miss all of you a lot! Secondly, my little room at the house is coming along very slowly but it will or should be ready soon. I decided that coming over to the house/store will be by appointment only as I don't want too many people here at one time, less things for my neighbors to complain about.

Anyway, my other news is that I have a job. I am a front office manager for an occupational therapy office. I start tomorrow, so please pray that I do well there.

Okay, updates to be coming soon. Magnolia magazines should be here soon. First 19 people to let me know that they want one will get one. So far 5 have been taken already.

Update

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much to all my wonderful customers who have come in and mentioned that we/our small little store will be missed. What I will miss the most will be seeing all of you on a regular basis.

So my update is, that for now I will be having my little shop in my house. I will have open houses 1 or 2x per month on a Saturday and we will do a make and take or a class. I do live in Mililani near Rec 4 and District Park. I will be ordering Magnolia stamps, accessories, and magazines and Greeting Farm stamps, as well as some other things.

As I get more information, I will pass it along on my blog and the email list. Thanks for hanging in there with me and let's hope our little adventure will continue. Again, thank you for all your love, support, and well wishes, and the goodies that you have shared with me and my family.

Sad Sad Sad News

An email was just sent out that I am closing MunchKins at the Town Center due to the high cost of rent there ($5000+/month). I am going to try and relocate and am looking for a space, but not sure when that will happen. I will keep everyone informed via email and/or posting on this blog so please keep tuned. If I don't get a retail location, I will still be selling Magnolia and Greeting Farm products online on my Etsy website. I can mail you your stamps/products and/or you can come to my house in Mililani to pick it up.

Liquidation sale starts tomorrow, 40% off all products in the store. If you have anything on hold, all merchandise will go back on the floor for sale. For now regular store hours are in effect. Last day at the store will be this Sunday, 10/10/10, might be earlier dependent on what is left in the store. Again, please stay tuned on this blog for more details.

All sales are final. No exchanges and/or refunds. CASH ONLY. No checks or credit cards. I will not be answering phone calls as it will be very busy. No adjustments on previous purchases. Please anticipate long check out lines. No holds.

Again, thank you for your devoted loyalty and please shop at our local stores and keep them in business. I know there are great deals online, but without the local stores our economy in Hawaii will suffer.

Do you all love Suze Weinberg? I do. I am taking pre-sign ups for class. She will come if there is an interest. Suze is a dear dear friend of mine and she has taught for me several times when I had my "old" MunchKins store.

Please call the store at 625-0077 if interested in taking classes. No details yet but she will teach 3-4 classes over a weekend. Cost is not set but this is a lifetime opportunity to take classes from a very talented and wonderful crafter. Everyone, I had the most fun at the make and take since I started the store. Thank you to all the bloggers for coming, it was a blast. I hope you get to make it more often as it really was fun for me to see all of you.

To my non blogging friends/customers, it is always great to see you too! I will try and come up with more fun make and takes. If any of you have any requests to learn something that is fairly quick, please let me know. I have a good one planned for next Saturday. Stay tuned!

Here is the project for the make and take this Saturday from 11 to 1. Charge is $1, but no charge if purchasing something from the store. It is a triangular folded card and I used red glitter pen, yellow pearl pen, and white Flower Soft.

Deadline to sign up: 7/15/10

Card rules: Make 3 identical cards, use stamps/embellies that I carry at MunchKins. Card no bigger than 5.5x5.5. One card is for the store and you will receive 2 different cards back. Envelopes for the cards are not mandatory, but if you want to add an envelope you can.

Theme: Fun in the summertime.

Very exciting news. The brand new Magnolia doodads are coming in today, along with some stamps. Very limited quantities. The doodads are die-cuts that match the Magnolia style. Very nice. These dies will work in Big Shot, Cuttlebug, etc. They are about the thickness of Spellbinder dies.

On Monday, 6/21, the new Magnolia collection called Wedding Collection will be here. Since I am not at the store and Jordan and Alan are covering for me, there will be no holding of stamps and first come first got.

UPS guy comes around 12 pm and it takes about 1/2 hour to put in computer so anytime after 1 pm would be safe to come in and purchase.

Thanks for understanding and see you soon. Remember the Cryogen White card stock. Beautiful subtle shimmer and works beautifully with Copic markers. Try it out and see. This paper is very hard to get. This paper is already in the store.
